LIDS OFF

PLASTICS.  Plastic requires you to put the effort in.  Remove the lids and throw them out before throwing away the plastic container in the recycling bin.

WHY? because most caps are made from a different type of plastic than the containers they are attached to.

What about the ring? A small amount of the plastic ring will not impact if the bottle gets recycled so this is not a MUST.

GLASS.  When glass is recycled is crushed to pieces and sorted.  Non glass pieces removed so save the companies money by taking off the lid.

STRAWS.  Unfortunately, most are not recyclable
